My Approach
Collaborative & Layered
I believe collaborating with patients and taking a multi-faceted approach to treatment allows for the most effective care and best patient outcomes.
You can expect treatment plans tailored to your specific needs. I incorporate effective therapeutic techniques to complement prescribed medication. CBT, DBT, the Stages of Change Model, and motivational interviewing are some of the tools I use. This integrative approach helps patients achieve healthy behavioral changes, improve symptoms and daily functioning, and better quality of life.
Specialties
I provide care for children (8 and older), adolescents, and adults specializing in generalized anxiety, panic disorder, separation anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, depression, and bipolar disorder.
Background and Qualifications
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner treating patients across the lifespan exclusively in Massachusetts. I attended Northeastern University and completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and later earned my Master of Arts in counseling psychology at Framingham State University.
Upon graduation, I began working as an outpatient therapist at a substance abuse clinic. To continue to grow as a mental health provider, I returned to Northeastern Univerity completing my Bachelor of Science in nursing. After working as a floor nurse on an in-patient psychiatric unit for several years, I set out to reach my long-term goal of becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner achieving my Master of Science in Nursing at Northeastern University.
